Strategic partnerships ensure global network of auditors
IMS International has announced its expansion into several new countries through strategic alliances with local certification providers to grow its global network of certification offices, reflecting its continued commitment to meet existing client requirements and enter new markets.
IMS has added Italy, Qatar and Egypt to its portfolio of International representative offices. Across the world, IMS provides international certification services in China, USA, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, Germany, South Africa, India, and Malaysia. This has resulted in an increase of employees in the UK and internationally.
Primarily providing certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, AS 9100 and ISO 27001, IMS representative offices benefit by transferring its clients and auditors to IMS certification and audit processes. This enables the company to expand its service offering to include all certification capabilities of IMS International, and its auditors enhance their technical competence qualifications.
Graham O’Geran, business development director at IMS said: “The representative offices offer extensive local knowledge to service clients in a variety of sectors including construction, aerospace, manufacturing, training and distribution. By having local resources, we can better serve our existing clients resulting in substantial cost savings. It has been a considerable investment for our company and a huge amount of effort, but we are satisfied that the expansion has been executed in a planned and controlled manor. We are now exploring the feasibility of South America among other countries.”
All auditors are fully trained in IMS processes and procedures, which ensures a high level of integrity, professionalism and customer service throughout each office.
